Juni 1907 bei der Orgelbaufirma E.F. Walcker &amp; Cie. in\u00a0 Ludwigsburg bestellt und rund f\u00fcnf Monate sp\u00e4ter, am 23. November 1907, ausgeliefert. Wir k\u00f6nnen davon ausgehen, dass die Orgel problemlos an den kommenden Weihnachtsfeiertagen ihre Dienste tat.<\/p>\n<p>Die ungew\u00f6hnlich rasche Liefer- und Einbauzeit dieser Orgel war der gut eingespielten Belegschaft von rund 150 Mitarbeitern zu verdanken, die mit 10 \u2013 12 Arbeitsstunden t\u00e4glich enorme Leistungen vollbrachten. Tats\u00e4chlich wurden von 1901 \u2013 1914, also\u00a0 zu Beginn des Ersten Weltkriegs, \u00fcber 1.120 Orgeln von der Firma Walcker in Kirchen auf allen Erdteilen eingebaut.\u00a0 Die\u00a0 Firma Walcker war damals der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Orgelbauer Europas.<\/p>\n<p>Oscar Walcker war zu dieser Zeit die treibende Kraft, die auf technologische Entwicklung und h\u00f6chste k\u00fcnstlerische Vollendung hinarbeitete, indem er enge Kontakte zu Komponisten und Organisten suchte. Er \u00fcbernahm mit seinem Onkel Eberhard Walcker ab 1906 die Firma und brachte in der kommenden Zeit der\u00a0 Wirtschaftskrisen und Weltkriege neue Impulse in den deutschen Orgelbau ein.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-30219w-24f0f1d30280008ff0a2bbef1cabb849\">\n.flex_column.av-30219w-24f0f1d30280008ff0a2bbef1cabb849{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-30219w-24f0f1d30280008ff0a2bbef1cabb849 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-5  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-k3x531jk-7b1f660161c0d087a9dd1af8400ca553 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Das klangliche Konzept des Orgelbaus vor 1914 war sp\u00e4tromantisch gepr\u00e4gt und fand seinen H\u00f6hepunkt in der Gestalt der Walcker-Orgel in der Hamburger Michaeliskirche. Bei diesem sp\u00e4tromantischen Orgeltyp &#8211; wie wir ihn auch in Gro\u00dfrudestedt finden &#8211; wird auf ein Crescendo von feinsten, zur\u00fcckhaltenden Klangfarben bis zum grandiosen Tutti gro\u00dfer Wert gelegt, wobei ein gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig berechnendes Ma\u00df an Grundstimmen f\u00fcr den Bassbereich eingeplant wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die weitere Entwicklung im Orgelbau nach dem I. Weltkrieg orientierte sich wieder mehr am Orgelideal vor dem 19. Jahrhundert. Diese Neuorientierung, die auch Oscar Walcker mit dem Bau einer Praetoriusorgel nach Freiburg angesto\u00dfen hatte, setzte besonders nach dem II. Weltkrieg in Bezug auf ihren Klang vielen romantischen Orgeln in Deutschland nach deren Restaurierung negativ zu.<\/p>\n<p>Deshalb wird heute jede noch original erhaltene Orgel aus der Zeit vor 1914 unter besonderen Schutz gestellt. Dazu geh\u00f6rt auch die Walcker-Orgel in Gro\u00dfrudestedt. Es ist ein Gl\u00fccksfall, der uns \u2013 nach ihrer Restaurierung \u2013 wieder die warmen Kl\u00e4nge dieser Zeit in Erinnerung bringen wird.<\/p>\n<p>Gerhard
